Twilight Night Hike

Join us for a fun night hike under the big, Texas sky. We’ll stop along the trail and listen to the sounds of the night and if we’re lucky, we’ll see some of the nocturnal wildlife that live in the park. We’ll also stop and look up at the night sky. On a clear night, it feels like you can see almost every single star in the Universe. It’s ah-mazing! This hike will be guided by one of our nature guides and will be about 1 mile in distance.

Please use only red lights along the trails (white lights only for emergencies) as the white lights disrupt the circadium rhythm of the animals as well as our own night vision. Once our eyes adjust to the dark, and a white light is illuminated, it takes 30-40 minutes to reacquire our night vision.

Please wear comfortable walking shoes or hiking boots. Please bring your own water.
