Geology Hike

We are excited about one of our newest programs here at Canyon of the Eagles, our Geology Hike with our resident, certified, professional geologist Geoff Saunders. We will start the hike at the Amphitheatre Trailhead and go one-mile in and one-mile back on varied terrain.

You will see colorful pebbles along the trail that are considered gemstones when polished. Nature is amazing! You will also be near a geologic fault and learn about the Llano Uplift region. So much cool stuff around here! We are lucky to have Geoff share his knowledge of the earth and this region.

Please wear comfortable shoes or hiking boots and bring your own water.
