Live Music on the Patio

Doug Day is a musician / singer / songwriter from Odessa Texas. For several years he wrote, performed and produced jingles and post scores for virtually all the biggest advertising agencies in the Dallas Metroplex. On regional and national projects he worked with talents such as Michael Bolton, Marc Cohn, Delbert McClinton, Warren Ham and Robert Sterling, to name a few.
The next chapter found him moving to Nashville, singing with the Powell Music Group and later with EMI as a writer and artist. In this period he played with such luminaries as Johnny and June Carter Cash, Waylon Jennings, David Hungate (of Toto), Al Perkins (of Stephen Stills Manassas), and the great Larry Knectal (session man worth googling). He also wrote songs with Delbert McClinton, David Hungate, Alan Shamblin, Charlie Craig, Wood Newton and many more of Music City’s finest.
Doug is currently a regular at Canyon of the Eagles, playing Saturday’s and select Friday’s. When you get a chance, check out his songs on YouTube.
